Here we bring an update of the upcoming story of Aakash Aath's Ek Masher Golpo! 

Readers, the next story to be featured is Ichchhapuran, written by eminent writer, Prafulla Roy.

It would be detective story set against the backdrop of a family. It will aim to convey a message that trust is an important thing in any family.   

The serial has been directed by Shibangshu Bhattacharya.

Ace actor Dulal Lahiri will be playing double role in the serial. He will be seen in the role of Baishanor and also Baishanor’s father. 

Commenting on the adaptation of the story into a serial, Shibangshu said, “We haven’t changed the main issues of the story but added a very few things to suit the serial.”

The director also added that the story will make people pause and think about themselves and also our value system.  

He said, “The story is about values. It will make people think about their thoughts. While watching it, they will ask themselves several questions.”  

Apart from Dulal Lahiri, it also stars actors like Sanjib Sarkar, Aritra Dutta, Rhitaja Majumder, Susmita Chakraborty, Arnab Banerjee, Arindol Bagchi, Phalguni Sanyal and Riya Dutt.

The shooting of the serial took place in ancient buildings of historic significance like Baruipur Rajbari, Ghosh Bari of Bhawanipur etc.

This Ek Masher Golpo series will start from 1^st June.
