Fun-i-licious: An entertaining day with BBC's Girls on Top cast

An entertaining day with BBC

If it’s fun, it’s Tellychakkar.com. And on television, if it’s fun, it’s the show Girls on Top, produced by BBC Worldwide India and airing on MTV India.

Usually, as audiences, we get hooked to the pretty faces and dramatic onscreen sequences. But we must salute the constant efforts, hard work and creativity put in by the members of the production team. In this case, we are talking about the uber efficient team at BBC, helmed by dynamic Myleeta Aga, which made a mark in the realm of youth shows, via its project Girls On Top. And it’s time for celebration as the peppy series recently completed 50 episodes.

Hooraay!!!

Hang on..there’s more to the story.

Recently, Tellychakkar.com visited the set of Girls On Top and we had a gala time with the ever effervescent cast (oh, we loved it).

We met crazy and talented- Shantanu Maheshwari, Saloni Chopra, Barkha Singh, Yuvraj Thakur, Ayesha Adlakha and Arjun Singh.

As these young hearts sat together, it was fun personified.

Discussing the show’s success, the actors talked about their journey and it was a pleasant time hearing them reminisce their favourite moments.

But then they dropped a bomb!!!

The guys, feeling left out given the women centric plot in the show, demanded the girls to give them a special treat (really guys!?).

“We should treat? You guys hog the limelight all the time. So, you should do something for us,” retorted the cuties.

However, feeling a bit sympathetic towards their co-stars, the pretty girls finally agreed to treat them with some lip-smacking snacks and coolers.

“We want to cook something for the boys, but we are very bad at it. So let’s just order something for them,” giggled the girls.

So tringgg tringgg went a call to Kaashi aunty (character in the show famous for her gastronomic abilities) and arrived on the set some steamy & yummy sandwiches. And to cool off their complains, the girls decided to make some special mocktails for the guys.

Voila! In few moments the treat was ready and served!!!

The boys were over the moon to see the delicacies but soon sniffed foul play and complained, “The food was supposed to be cooked by you girls, not take set delivery. Not fair.”

After some verbal punches, finally the girls gave in and agreed to the culinary folly. Thus, to make up for it, they chose to give a soothing ‘massage’ to the boys (ooh la la).

Gia, Rev and Isha definitely made Sahir, Azhar and Guru feel special and all relaxed.

Thanking the girls, the guys promised that they will treat them after they complete another 50 episodes.

Their banter continued and we left them amidst their cute squabbles.

Sounds fun? Then you must check out the entire video. Don’t forget to like and share.

Keep watching Girls On Top and kudos to BBC for coming up with such an amazingly engaging show. Cheers to girl power!!!
