The pretty and vivacious Barkha Bisht Sengupta has been signed in for Star Plus’ next big ticket project.

As already reported by Tellychakkar.com, producers Guroudev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada will be soon launching their next on Star Plus. The series inspired from the life of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt will have Viraf Afroz Patel playing the lead.

Shared a source, “As the story will have a female as the main protagonist, the makers wanted a strong performer who could pull off the challenging role. After an extensive search, the makers finally found their perfect lead in Barkha.”

One of the fittest actresses on TV, Barkha has earlier impressed viewers with her performances in shows like Parvarrish, Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne and movies like Ram Leela. She was currently part of Hanumaan but her character has being ceased out of the daily.

We called up Barkha but she refused to talk about the project.

We tried reaching out to the producers but they remained unavailable.

The duo currently produces Baazigar and Udann on Life OK and Colors respectively.
