After Sakshi Malik won India its first medal at Olympics 2016, another young girl stands tall in the global platform.
Badminton champ P V Sindhu, all of 21 years old becomes the first Indian woman to reach the final of this sport.
Hyderabad born P V defeated Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in the semi finals today. And the sport star will fight for gold tomorrow (19 August) when she hits the court opposite Spaniard Carolina Marin.
TV and Bollywood celebs are going gaga over this victory and we can’t help but feel proud of Sindhu’s achievement.
