It was a dream to have my own company: Producer Kavita Barjatya

The brain behind Rajshri Productions is a dreamer whose reams of fantasy have been translated into mind boggling reality.

Kavita Barjatya, who has been producing shows for Rajshri Productions, has branched out with a production house of her own .

Kavita's launched her new show Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka on Sony Entertainment Television. 

In a candid interview with Tellychakkar.com, producer Kavita spoke about her debut venture and clears the air about separation from Rajshri Production.

I am not getting separated from Rajshri

I am with my family. Now, I am launching a show in my company and may be after a while, I might be doing a show in Rajshri Production.  I am not getting separated from the Barjatyas. I am clearing it out.

It was a dream to start own company

It was a dream to have my own company. And my family has supported me a lot so that I can achieve my dream. I told my father that he was there to support me that was the reason I took this big step or else I can’t even imagine. On the sets, we had a big pooja, my entire family was present and they all gave me blessings. They were so happy to see the set and got emotional.

Ek Rishta is a perfect family drama

Television is mostly family-viewing. We have to touch audiences' hearts with Ek Rishta. It was the script's demand that we come up with a family drama. There is no negative character in the show. And we will see a lot of new flavours in the series.

Shivya and Kinshuk are great actors

Shivya Pathania and Kinshuk Vaidya are really sweet. The casting girl of our production was a fan of Shaka Laka Boom Boom and she showed us the audition of Kinshuk. We really liked it. And Shivya’s audition was also loved by our core team and channel too.

Sony channel is very supportive

The channel is very supportive. They see things in a practical manner. There are people who work from office but Sony channel people came to our sets. Though we were shooting in Jaisalmer, they came during summers to see the shoot. 

Lastly, she just wished that we love her show as much she does!
