Preet Kaur who has done intense roles in her TV career in shows Sabki Laadli Bebo, Ram Milaayi Jodi, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat will attempt comedy for the first time with SAB TV’s Dil Deke Dekho, produced by Manish Goswami.
She will play the hot and sleek Simran Shastri, the amazingly pretty head-turner in the colony.
Says Preet, “Comedy is something new for me, and I will give in my best. The role requires me to be happy and smiling always, and I am excited to bring in the positivity with my smiling persona. I hope I make people happy with my first attempt in comedy.”
Talking about the show and her role, Preet tells us, “Dil Deke Dekho is a romantic musical comedy, wherein there is no melodrama involved. In fact, the requirement of all our characters is to just do our part as per the situations. We have been clearly told that our characters should not turn over-comical, as the situations will already provide that. In simple words, viewers will laugh at the situations and not on characters.”
Elaborating further, Preet avers, “Simran who is the hot girl dreams of marrying a guy who is Mr. Perfect. And Amit will play the character of Kamal, who is actually Simran’s childhood friend. Kamal would have had a crush on Simran in childhood, and would have been dreaming to get her back in his life. And when Simran comes to the same colony, and he gets to know of her being the same girl of his childhood, he will start to woo Simran. Every time he will woo her, he will create embarrassing situations for her, and that will make their love story really amazing.”
