Entry of Rajat Tokas and Shweta Basu Prasad have lent impetus to the plot of Chandra Nandni (Star Plus and Balaji Telefilms).
The leads are great performers and add gravity to screen depiction.
At the press launch of the show Rajat mentioned, like a true King avatar, that he is an actor who doesn’t crave for publicty. He further spoke about his relationship with TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor and how “he never had to flatter her to get roles”.
Rajat is awesome and so is his co- star Shweta Basu Prasad. The Makdee famed star is queen of a performer but got embroiled in a dirty prostitution scandal couple of years back. Given the gloomy scenario, one must have thought of her entering a state of depresison, but she told us that she was hardly impacted by the fiasco
“I take the entire thing as a crazy adventure. I consider it insignificant and it was blown out of proportion by the media. Knowing well how our judiaciary system works, I was given a clean chit in just a week. That proves it all. And I think everyone needs an adventure to look forward to, that was mine,” the fiery Shweta quipped.
