Looks like 2017 has claimed its first break-up victim of the year. Or maybe the jinx of 2016 is continuing!
Either way, there’s news trickling in from a popular gossip site that actress Nandita Das has separated from Subodh Maskara, her husband of seven years.
The actress, in her statement to the media, stated, “Yes, it is true. Subodh and I have decided to separate. Thankfully, it is very amicable. Our son is our foremost priority and as parents of a delightful and sensitive child we request that his and our privacy be respected. There’s nothing to hide and there’s nothing more to be said. For us, our son is our main concern and we are committed to ensuring his well-being.”
Known for power-packed movies like Fire, Earth, and 1947 Earth, the actress-director got married to Subodh, an industrialist in 2010 and moved to Mumbai. They have a six-year-old son Vihaan.
