Acclaimed director Waseem Sabir dead

The entire TV industry is in for a rude shock. Popular and acclaimed director Waseem Sabir is dead. Yes, he is dead and we are not resorting to any euphemism to highlight the sheer shock and despair. The talented man passed away today (2 January), succumbing to brain injuries. Waseem has been part of various shows like Gangaa, Tamanna, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...Ek Baar Phir? As per information received, Waseem fell down at his home yesterday. He was immediately rushed to a hospital. However, today evening he breathed his last. His brother, is yet to fly down from Middle East, post which the last rites will be performed. His cousin and actor Aamir Dalvi, confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com. May his soul rest in peace
