It’s not even been a month since TV’s heartthrobs Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai tied the knot (they got married on 16 December). But speak to them and you feel like they have been together for ages.
Amazed by the emotions of having someone to go home to, Suyyash spoke to us and stated, “It is a beautiful feeling. Since we have known each other for long, there haven’t been many changes in our relationship but it has just evolved and become all the more special.”
The two met on the sets of Pyaar Kii Ek Kahaani and never really spoke to each other. Kishwer who kept to herself decided to go out of her vanity room one fine day. She met Suyyash there who was flaunting his singing talent to his co-stars. Impressed by his vocal skills, Kishwer started talking to him. Soon simple greetings changed to lengthy conversations over the phone and before they could realise, Cupid had played his tricks.
Head over heels in love with each other, the two made their relationship official soon. The ever romantic Suyyash then proposed marriage and they walked together on the path of ‘lived happily ever after’ with hand in hand.
Lovingly called by their fans as ‘Sukish’, Suyyash and Kishwer did not let age and religion come in the way of their eternal togetherness. Wanting to get the entire world part of their celebrations, the couple shot for a web series that gives intricate details of their wedding ceremony.
Talking further about the functions, the dashing Suyyash quipped, “It was super fun. All our friends got together and made the day really special for us. As the bride and groom, we had a blast in our marriage, which very few people get to do.”
Lastly, when we asked him if he will promote marriage to his friends, he coyly replied, “Single-hood is also fun. It’s being subjected to different emotions. You cannot compare them. But we do need to settle down one day, so why not now.”
