Umang Jain who essays the role of the pretty and good-looking Lovina who falls in love with the dancing traffic cop Kapil Dev (Vishal Malhotra) in SAB TV’s Khatmal-E-Ishque will soon be seen in a ‘damsel in distress’ avatar in the story. 

Yes, Lovina will be kidnapped post which Kapil’s father essayed by popular actor Sharad Saxena, will fight it out and save the girl. 

Umang had real fun shooting this sequence with the experienced actor, especially because she is in so much awe of his fighting skills. 

Umang, who harbours a passion of doing her own stunts, learnt martial arts to the core earlier when she played the title role in Zee TV’s Maharakshak Devi. And now to see Sharad exhibit his immense power and skill indeed gave goosebumps to the actress. 

Says Umang, “The sequence was a high-voltage one, with my character being tied up to a chair. Sharadji had to fight the goons in order to save me. You must have watched the intensity with which Sharadji fought. Amazing power and great skills!!

For a moment, I prayed and wished that I got a chance to get up and fight along with him, so that I have the privilege of sharing a fighting scene with the maestro.”
