Yuvraj Malhotra returns to TV with Kis Desh

Yuvraj Malhotra, who was last seen as Karan Mathur in Betiyaan and after Waaris faded into oblivion, save a tiff with producer Smriti Irani, but now almost after a year he will be seen in Balaji Telefilms' Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. Speaking to TellyChakkar, Yuvraj says, "I play Viren, a positive guy.He is very down to earth and simple. I always wanted to work with Balaji and the role sounded promising." To all those who wondered where Yuvraj disappeared, he was all set to make his debut in Bollywood but things didn't fall into place, so he's back on the small screen. He says, "I want to start afresh with television and resurrect my career by doing quality work." Yuvraj starts shooting this week.
