Niti Taylor’s sudden exit from the show Ghulaam has surprised many fans of the daily drama. Though Taylor’s exit has been tagged as a script demand, many media reports have published various other reasons; one of which is her non-cordial relation with her co-actors.
Vikkas Manaktala who plays the baddie in the drama laughs off these allegations and calls most of them baseless. “I didn’t even know about the development. As an actor we can’t really decide, it’s the creative and the channel’s call,” he quotes.
Niti and Vikkas had an unpleasant relationship in the past, leading the latter under scanner for the former’s exclusion. When Vikkas was asked about it, he counter-questions, “How can they (producers) throw an actor because of another actor, unless it’s some big name?”
It has been further said, Niti’s character won’t come to an end this soon. Her character’s prime origin was to change Rangeela as a person which has been done. Her character would die by next month. So fans can cherish her screen presence at least for a month more.
Shedding more light on Niti's egress, Manaktala further asserted “It could happen to anyone but as an actor one needs to focus on their performance”.
With Niti’s character coming to an end there have been reports of many actors running around to replace her in the show. Pooja Gor, Ekta Kaul and Pooja Banerjee are the foremost names to be a part of the ratrace.
On the other hand Vikkas is elated that the show has made it to the revamped version of Life OK which is soon going to be launched.
