Though actors are mass entertainers, we have seen them exploring different platforms. 

Actors in the likes of Shaheer Sheikh, Mohammad Nazim, Sargun Mehta and others  have made their debut in regional cinema and now we have yet another big face joining the bandwagon.

Any guesses for who it is?

Well, he is none other than our Diya Baat Aur Hum fame, Anas Rashid! 

The handsome man has enthralled us with his stint in the show as Suraj and now he is all geared to set his foot into Punjabi cinema.

Of what we hear, Anas has already started shooting for a movie titled, Nankana as a parallel lead. He will be seen sharing scree  space with the legendary Gurdas Maan. 

The movie is historic based on pre-partition.

If this news is not enough, we have our popular Kavita Kashik aka Chandramukhi Chautala, as seen in Sab TV's F. I. R accompanying Anas in the project! 

Ana's confirmed the news saying, '' It's a nice story and I would like to tell everyone to go to the theatre and watch it once it will be released." 

Kavita commented, "I can't reveal much about it. All I can say is it's a very prestigious project and I am having a great time shooting here in Punjab. Gurdas Maan Sahab is a legend and its an honor working with him." 

The movie is expected to be released next year by April, next year (2018).
