MUMBAI: Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding has been one of the biggest affairs of the first half of 2018. The wedding and the reception literally saw the whole of Bollywood coming down under the same roof. Barring a few actors, it won’t be wrong to say that the entire fraternity blessed the newlyweds.
Everyone has been obsessing about Sonam’s wedding as if it was their Veerey Di Wedding (pun intended). Even we are obsessing about Sonam and her reception.

1. When Salman-Shah Rukh became Karan-Arjun
Well, it won’t be wrong to say that Sonam-Anand’s reception was a memorable affair. All the big names were present at the party and the centre of attraction had to be Salman and Shah Rukh. In one of the glimpses from the reception, we saw the two sharing the same kind of bonding that they shared in their blockbuster Karan Arjun. Anil Kapoor’s wife was beautifully filling Rakhee’s void.

They are the brightest future of the industry. Their talent is immense and everyone loves their dancing skills. The duo had a faceoff with each other during the reception, amidst the presence of the Khans. Salman and Shah Rukh were also present there but our eyes were on the duo.
4. When Ranveer Singh lifted the groom
Even though we were not present for the reception, we are pretty sure that Ranveer Singh was high on energy. Singh’s energy was such that he was dancing on ‘Khalibali’, ‘Tattad’ and we couldn’t stop crushing on him. However, all the levels of adorability were crossed when he lifted the groom – Anand Ahuja. He picked Anand up and danced with him.

5. KJo’s dance on Prem Ratn Dhan Paayo
We all know Karan Johar is fabulous when he puts his foot on the dance floor. On the reception, Karan Johar danced on Sonam’s popular chartbuster – ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’. With the grace and charisma that he danced we couldn’t stop gushing over him.

6. When Shah Rukh danced to the tunes of Salman
As we had earlier mentioned we can’t get over Shah Rukh and Salman Khan’s camaraderie. In a video, Mika Singh is singing and Salman Khan joins him soon. Shah Rukh soon dances to Salman Khan’s tunes. How much we adore the duo and want to see them together on screen.
7. Anil Kapoor’s plea to the media
One rare video that we came across was when the bride’s father was walking in the room. When Anil Kapoor was posing for the cameras he came near the media people. Anil Kapoor literally pleaded to the media saying that everything was in their hands. He said, “I have worked in the industry for 40 years and now everything is in your hands kindly take care of it and don’t let any ruckus happen.”
