Still a ‘Miss’ with a ‘Universe’ inside me: Sushmita Sen on completing 24 glorious years of being crowned

MUMBAI: Sushmita Sen is one of those actresses whose life was never defined by each passing Friday.

She has ousted the dogma that women and dependency go hand in hand and has made a place in the Bollywood industry which we can only salute. She is a fashionista, a mother, an entrepreneur and so much more. It was this day (21 May) 24 years back that Sushmita was introduced as the Miss Universe at a mere age of 18!

Today as she continues to stand confident at 42, Sushmita took to her social media handle to pat herself how she is a ‘Miss’ with a ‘Universe’ inside of her.

She also thanked all her well wishers for all the love with a message that we get what we give out. Sushmita also mentioned that she takes this opportunity to celebrate this day not only with India but also Philippines – her second home.
