Arjun Kapoor calls out media houses over trolling
Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor recently called out a leading publication house over a story, which revolved around his sister Jhanvi Kapoor being trolled.
In two tweets the actor spoke how giving importance to a few comments and making story out of it is completely illogical.

Sonam Kapoor to make her directorial debut; Swara Bhasker to star
The Veerey De Wedding co-stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker might collaborate once again. As per reports in media, Sonam Kapoor is planning to make her directorial debut. If speculations are believed, Kapoor might sign Swara Bhasker for the film.
The work on the film is already on and announcements would be made soon.
‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha' in China
Anil Dhirubhai Ambani-led Reliance Entertainment is releasing Akshay Kumar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha in China on 8 June, re-titled as Toilet Hero in Mandarin for Chinese audiences.
The film is co-produced through Reliance Entertainment and Friday Filmworks' collaborative banner, Plan C Studios, with Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia.
The release marks Reliance Entertainment's return to the Chinese market after 3 Idiots, read a statement.
Toilet Hero will release in over 4,300 screens across China, reflecting a 50 per cent higher screen count compared to its original release in India.
It has already been screened to an overwhelming response at the Beijing Film Festival in April 2018, at an event.
"I am delighted our film is continuing to break new grounds. Our issues and cultures bear a lot of similarity and I hope Toilet Hero gets the same appreciation and love in China," said Akshay.
Shibasish Sarkar of Reliance Entertainment said, "We are very proud to release Toilet Hero in China this week, and expect the film to strike an emotional chord with audiences there, just as the film delighted Indian audiences."
Tang Media Partners, a Reliance Entertainment affiliate, are the licensee of the distribution rights in China.
The film will be released by Lianrui Picture, executive distributor with the China Film Group.
In India, Toilet Ek Prem Katha was presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and KriArj Entertainment.

'Hichki' to be screened at Shanghai film fest
Rani Mukerji-starrer Hichki will be screened as part of The Belt and Road Week at the Shanghai International Film Festival. The Bollywood film's director Siddharth Malhotra says it is an honour and a big opportunity.
"I am absolutely looking forward to presenting Hichki at The Belt and Road Film Week at Shanghai International Film Festival. It's a huge honour and a big opportunity and I am very grateful that they have included our film," Malhotra said in a statement.
The film will be screened on 16 June as part of the festival's opening day. Malhotra will interact with members of the audience after the screening.
'Manto' heads to Sydney
Actress-filmmaker Nandita Das' Manto, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto, will be screened at the Sydney Film Festival.
The film will be screened on 16-17 June at the fest.
Manto is a biographical historical period drama film about the writer who is known for his writings around the partition of India and Pakistan. It was the only Indian film in Un Certain Regard category at 71st Cannes Film Festival.
"After an overwhelming response at Cannes, I am very happy to be going to the Sydney Film Festival with Manto. The power of cinema is its ability to transcend countries and cultures," Nandita said in a statement.
"It is still the beginning of my Manto journey, so I am very curious to see how the audiences react in different parts of the world, before it finally releases in India later this year. While the context of the film is local, I feel the story will resonate universally. At the core, Manto is about troubled times and one man trying to make sense of it all. And Manto was relevant then and will continue to be relevant for a long time to come," she added.
Nandita will be taking her son to the fest.
Discovered a great actor while working with Dhanush: Ken Scott
Filmmaker Ken Scott says he discovered a great actor while working with Indian artiste Dhanush for the film Extraordinary journey of Fakir.
"When I worked with Dhanush I discovered a great actor and an amazing personality, and it was a great experience during the Paris premiere and the press screenings to realize that the French audience and media felt the same about him, and experienced the same delight and sense of wonder watching Dhanush in our film as I had directing it," Scott said in a statement.

Sneha Namanandi to share screen space with Sanjay Dutt in ‘Torbaaz’
Sneha Namanandi shall be seen in a pivotal role in the upcoming film Torbaaz, which has been filming in Kyrgyzstan, where the country of Afghanistan has been recreated. Sneha plays an Afghani woman in the film and had co-stars from all over the world which included people from Afghanistan, Norway and Sweden who all confused her to be an Afghan in real life.

Varun Dhawan calls for protection of environment
Actor Varun Dhawan has said it is high time that "we start taking care of Mother Nature".
