MUMBAI: Weekend is here but before you head for our plans, here's presenting the latest Hollywood Updates.

Kendall Jenner's topless moment, Anthony Bourdain dead and some more spicy updates.

Kendall Jenner's topless moment on social media

Reality TV star Kendall Jenner took to Instagram to share a topless photograph of herself with her fans and followers.

She posted the photograph on Thursday night as she took part in a photo shoot, reports dailymail.co.uk

In the image, shot on her phone into a mirror, Kendall wears a low-cut black one piece --so low-cut that it covers nothing of her breasts.

The only thing preserving the star's modesty is two tiny ice-cream emojis.

While her head has been cropped out, fans could tell it was her by her sticker-covered cell phone.

The shoot appeared to be the brainchild of photographer Cass Bird.

Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain dead

Anthony Bourdain, celebrity chef, adventurer and television host, has died at the age of 61.

Bourdain, whose "Parts Unknown" series launched its 11th season on CNN last month, was found dead in his hotel room in France, where he was filming an upcoming episode of the travelogue. The cause of death was suicide, reports cnn.com

"It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain," the network said in a statement.

"His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time."

His close friend Eric Ripert, the French chef, found Bourdain unresponsive in his hotel room on Friday morning.

Bourdain was a master of his crafts -- first in the kitchen and then in the media. Through his TV shows and books, he explored the human condition and helped audiences think differently about food, travel and themselves.

He advocated for marginalized populations and campaigned for safer working conditions for restaurant staffs.

Brooke Shields was constantly branded 'fat' by mother

Actress Brooke Shields, who is known for her beauty and a career that has spanned decades after she shot to fame as a child model when she was 12, says she was constantly called fat by her mother and that lowered her confidence.

Shields, 53, told digital magazine, Porter Edit: "My mother would get drunk and say, 'Why don't you move your fat a**?' So, I've always believed I had a fat a**."

"I modeled swimwear when I was 15, and even then, I didn't think I had a swimsuit body," she added, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"I was a cover girl, not a supermodel. I was neck-up - the face, the eyebrows - and I was always described as athletic, not rail-thin, not a runway model... Those messages, they seep into your consciousness."

Subsequently, Shields embarked on an ill-fated marriage to tennis ace Andre Agassi, whom she divorced in 1999 after just two years, to escape the clutches of her overbearing parent, who also served as her manager.

"I needed Andre to separate from my mother. I'd spent my life, 24/7, being so worried that my mother was going to die, and my whole world was wrapped around keeping her alive," she said.

"But that probably saved me and kept me on the straight and narrow. I needed to get past that so that I could start at square one and be a less encumbered version of myself. But I still had so much growing up to do," she added.

She soon started to feel better about herself after embarking on a romance with screenwriter Chris Henchy, with whom she celebrated 17 years of marriage in April.

"I would walk backwards out of rooms, and he'd say, 'No, I want to grab onto you'. He really celebrated my womanliness and my body. And I needed a man to celebrate me," said Shields.

While Brooke endured such issues, she feels proud to say that her daughters Rowan, 15, and Grier, 12, are both so much more "mature" and "confident" than she was when she was their age.

John Stamos never thought he'd have a child

Actor John Stamos, 54, admits he never thought that he would have a child.

The "Full House" star is now a proud father to son William "Billy" Christopher, with wife Caitlin McHugh.

"It's been beautiful," he told people.com of his first few weeks as a father.

"Every second you pray that you can keep the kid alive. Every day is different, time has become very elusive, stuff just goes by so fast. It's just beautiful. I've cried most days; I just stare at him."

The star says that aside from his sleep schedule, his style has changed as well.

Another upcoming milestone for Stamos? His first Father's Day on June 19.

"I know I'll be crying a lot," he says of his plans for the holiday.

"I've been writing Billy a letter that I'm putting away for him to read when he's 18. I'll probably continue writing that, and I'll certainly try to honour my father."

As for Billy, Stamos hopes to do what he can to help make the world a better place by the time his son grows up.

"We live in an anxiety-riddled, unsure, divisive time right now. I think most of us are searching, even subconsciously, to find what's missing from our lives: grace, charity, kindness, and peace, and family, and community and friendship."

"I just hope this world is a better place for Billy when he starts to understand what it's all about. And I just want to be an example to him. I have a real responsibility now. I've never really had real responsibility."

"I thought it was beyond me to have a kid and a great wife, but it's given me a reason to live. Life is in session now."

ABC Studios apologizes for 'Quantico' controversial plot

ABC Studios, the executive producers of Priyanka Chopra's show "Quantico", has extended an apology to fans who were offended by an episode of the show which portrayed Indian nationalists as terrorists who were trying to frame Pakistan in a terror plot.

They said that they regret stepping into "a complex political issue", and they didn't intend to offend anyone.

The episode, entitled The Blood of Romeo, aired on June 1. In it, Priyanka's character, FBI agent Alex Parrish, thwarts a terror plot just days before a summit between India and Pakistan is to be held, reports Hollywoodreporter.com.

During her investigations, Parrish finds a religious Hindu symbol - a Rudraksh chain - on the neck of one of the suspects leading her to conclude that the plot was devised by Indian nationalists to frame Pakistan in a nuclear terror attack.

Some fans of the show were upset with the portrayal of Indians in the plot and took to Twitter to express their views. In fact, many fans slammed Priyanka for the track.

ABC Studios clarified that Priyanka had no role in writing or directing the show:

The statement read: "ABC Studios and the executive producers of 'Quantico' would like to extend an apology to our audience who were offended by the most recent episode, 'The Blood of Romeo'. The episode has stirred a lot of emotion, much of which is unfairly aimed at Priyanka Chopra, who didn't create the show, nor does she write or direct it.

"She has no involvement in the casting of the show or the storylines depicted in the series."

They also stressed that "Quantico" is a work of fiction.

"The show has featured antagonists of many different ethnicities and backgrounds, but in this case, we inadvertently and regrettably stepped into a complex political issue. It was certainly not our intention to offend anyone," the statement read further.

"Quantico" will not be getting a fourth season. The third season is on air in India on Star World.

The cast also included Jake McLaughlin, Johanna Braddy, Russell Tovey, Alan Powell, Marlee Matlin and Blair Underwood.

John Lasseter to exit Disney in wake of #MeToo

John Lasseter, the co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios and the Walt Disney Companys animation chief, will leave the company at the end of the year following a sexual harassment scandal.

The company made the announcement on Friday, reports variety.com.

Lasseter, who was the chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar, has been on a "sabbatical" since November 21 last year when he sent a memo to staff apologizing for "unwanted hugs".

Female employees told Variety at the time that Lasseter had a reputation for touching women inappropriately, including rubbing their legs and kissing them on the lips, in the office. Lasseter was also reprimanded for making out with a subordinate at an Oscar party in 2010, sources told Variety.

Over the last two weeks, many in the animation community have urged Disney to oust Lasseter for good. Social media users adopted the tag #LoseLasseter. Though Lasseter was executive producer of "Incredibles 2", he did not appear at the film's premiere on Tuesday, reports variety.com.

In a statement on Friday, the company said that Lasseter will take a consulting role until December 31, when he will leave the company. The statement did not acknowledge the reasons for Lasseter's departure, nor did it give any indication that the company investigated his conduct.

"John had a remarkable tenure at Pixar and Disney Animation, reinventing the animation business, taking breathtaking risks, and telling original, high-quality stories that will last forever," CEO Bob Iger said.

"We are profoundly grateful for his contributions, which included a masterful and remarkable turnaround of The Walt Disney Animation Studios. One of John's greatest achievements is assembling a team of great storytellers and innovators with the vision and talent to set the standard in animation for generations to come."

In his own statement, Lasseter said: "The last six months have provided an opportunity to reflect on my life, career, and personal priorities. While I remain dedicated to the art of animation and inspired by the creative talent at Pixar and Disney, I have decided the end of this year is the right time to begin focusing on new creative challenges.

"I am extremely proud of what two of the most important and prolific animation studios have achieved under my leadership and I'm grateful for all of the opportunities to follow my creative passion at Disney."

Disney did not announce a replacement for Lasseter at either studio.
