MUMBAI: Rocking his part as Uma Shankar in Star Plus’ popular show Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji (Shashi Sumeet Productions), Avinesh Rekhi has been missing from the television screens for some time now.
So what is the man up to these days?
Avinesh is currently on a vacay mode and is having a ball of a time exploring the land which has a long intellectual history – Germany. He has visited the SS Army camp (Schutzstaffel) and parts of Berlin so far.
Talking about his outing, Avinesh mentioned, “I love travelling and Germany is my favourite tourist destination. I have been visiting this country since my childhood as my uncle lives here. I love the overcast. It is cloudy and cold and I enjoy this kind of weather. I had lots of fun in the SS Army camp which was associated with Nazi Germany's concentration camp system headed by Adolf Hitler.”
Shedding light on his future ventures, Avinesh said, “There is nothing on the platter as of now. I am enjoying my break.”
Speaking about travel experiences, Parin Mehta, Director - APAC, Airbnb Experiences, said, "Vacations should be a way for travellers to experience an otherwise unknown side of the city, immersing themselves in communities through the eyes of locals."
