MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is among the first to bring to you breaking news from the world of entertainment. We have been giving you the latest updates about Colors’ upcoming show Shrimad Bhagavad.

Actor Nikhil Dwivedi will be donning producer’s hat for this show. Under his newly formed banner Saffron Media, he will be helming the 52-episodic series.

Ishita Ganguly and Indraneil Sengupta have been locked as the main leads. Here are more details on the ensemble cast of the mythological drama.

The makers have finalized the other Lords for the show.

Suchit Vikram Singh of Roadies fame will be essaying Agni Dev’s character. Ayaz Khan (Dill Mill Gayye) has been roped in to play Indra Dev. Vijay Badani will play Narad, Yogesh Mahajan will play Brahma, Nakul Ghaneka will be seen as Nandi. Anshul Bammi and Chandan Anand will also play important roles.

As per our sources, the shoot will begin on 1 August. The set is in Kanjurmarg.

We tried reaching out to the actors but could not connect with them.

The series is expected to air every Sunday from the end of August or the first week of September.
