MUMBAI: It’s a wonderful thing that at times our shortcomings are the ones that prove beneficial for us. Something similar has happened with actor Shibesh Debnath.
Shibesh is a dwarf and has faced multiple problems in life due to his short height. He is glad that his short height proved pivotal for him to join the entertainment industry. Soon audience will get to see him in Sony Entertainment Television’s show Mere Sai as Shibesh. The show will also portray an interesting plot where the character of Shibesh is facing problems because of his short stature.
When contacted, the actor, who has been a part of successful movies like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, confirmed and said, “It’s a great opportunity for me to be part of a wonderful show like Mere Sai. When I was selected for this role, I was overjoyed. For the first time on television, all the things that I have faced in real life will be showcased on screen.”
“The makers have portrayed the story in a very interesting way. How Sai baba explains the importance of an individual’s talent and capability, which are far superior than their height and physical attributes will be the turning point of the story, which is true; my short height bagged me a role in Mere Sai, Shibesh added.
