KOLKATA: Durga, Behula, and Bodhu Kon Alo Laaglo Chokhe famed actress Payel De wants good health and happiness from Goddess Durga.
Durga Puja, which is the biggest festival of Bengal, is knocking at our doors. When TellyChakkar asked Payel what she wants from Maa Durga, she said, “Nothing much… (I want) good health and happiness for my loved ones and myself.’
On the work front, Payel is currently seen in the role of Rubina in Colors Bangla’s Jaahanara. When asked if she wants anything related to her career, she said ‘I want to work in films and web series.’
Sharing her opinion on web shows, she added, ‘It’s a fine way to explore and experiment. It polishes you as an actor. However, how much you will improve definitely depends on the script and director.’
The actress, who acted in Joydip Ghosh’s film Mayabazaar and Samadarshi Dutta starrer short film Dashamir Dine Agomon, is currently hooked to Netflix.
She said, ‘I am addicted to Netflix. Recently, I watched a short film called Love Per Square Foot. I just loved it.’
