MUMBAI: Aditya Roy Kapur, who has been away from the silver screen after a brief appearance in Sonakshi Sinha starrer Welcome to New Yorkthis year, has been roped in for Kalank and Sadak 2. In addition to two big-banner films, it seems that he will be debuting on television as the host of an adventure reality show.
As per some media reports, the reality show will go on floors by the year-end. Apparently, since Aditya is into fitness and adventures sports and has a strong fan base among the youth, the makers of the show wanted him to come on board. After several meetings, it seems that Aditya has given a nod to the project. He will sign the dotted line once the schedule of Sadak 2 is known.
The actor started out as a VJ before his debut in 2009 film London Dreams. So it will be interesting to see Aditya host this reality show, which will be shot across the country.
Kalank also stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, and Sonakshi Sinha, while Sadak 2 features him opposite Alia.
