Actor–comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to return to the small screen with The Kapil Sharma Show. Kapil fans can rejoice, as the actor will return with the new season of his show during Diwali.
The ace comedian confirmed the news through his Twitter account, where he mentioned that he is back from the promotion activity for his movie and is ready to make audiences laugh with his show.
According to reports, Kapil's ex and former creative director Preeti Simoes was asked to join the team as a creative director, but the old team is reportedly busy with their respective projects. Kapil’s second innings is being awaited not only by his fans but also by several top celebrities who enjoyed being on his show and pulling each other’s legs.
Kapil has been undergoing treatment after he was diagnosed with depression last year. After the ugly spat with Sunil Grover, Kapil had a terrible downfall. Earlier this year, he returned with a show titled Family Time With Kapil Sharma, but it shut shop within 3 episodes, as Kapil failed to turn up on the sets owing to his health.
