MUMBAI: Amidst the #MeToo storm that came and swept across the nation, a number of Bollywood personalities came under the scanner. Some of the names that came out were shocking. Recently, another actor was named by his ex-girlfriend that left everyone dazed. Former Miss India Niharika Singh came out with her #MeToo story and accused actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui of misconduct and cheating.
However, Nawazuddin’s co-star from Sacred Games, Kubbra Sait, came out in his support and took to Twitter to defend him. Later there were reports that Netflix might drop him from the second season of Sacred Games, but these reports are not true.

As per media reports, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has not been dropped from the show and he had attended a dinner hosted by Netflix who were there for Narcos’ cross-promotion. It seems that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has already left for Lonavala for his shooting schedule of the series.
Following Me too movement, Netflix had dropped Kevin Spacey from their international series House of Cards. They continued and made the final season without him. Earlier, Sacred Games writer Varun Grover had also come under scanner as per the Me Too movement and the series was in jeopardy.
