MUMBAI: It was six years ago when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were cast as Ram and Leela in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali tragedy, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013). Since then, the couple has been going strong.
DeepVeer finally gets their happy ending in real life today. Deepika and Ranveer are officially a MARRIED couple! They shared the news of their wedding with their fans and well-wishers over a month ago, and since then, the excitement has been building.
DeepVeer tied the knot today at Villa del Balbianello, Italy, which made for a gorgeous wedding venue for Bollywood's power couple. According to a leading publication, the pair got hitched in a traditional Konkani-style ceremony, in accordance with the Padukone family’s traditions.
Only 40 guests, including family and close friends, were invited for Deepika and Ranveer's special day. Tomorrow, Deepika and Ranveer will wed again according to Sindhi customs and traditions, in accordance with the Bhavnani family’s traditions.
Karan Johar, who is one of Deepika and Ranveer’s closest friends, wished the couple on his Twitter account and captioned it saying, ‘Such a stunningly gorgeous and beautiful couple!!!! Nazar utar lo! Badhai ho !!! Love you both!!! Here’s to a lifetime of love and joy!’
