A recce of 56 locations for these Chhichhore!

MUMBAI: Locations are considered to be the primordial concern for the movies. Nitesh Tiwari who last shot Dangal is currently working on his next Chhichhore, happen to do a recce of 56 locations before concluding on the final one. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead the film is being shot in Mumbai itself.

A source from the team revealed, “We are shooting for the film in Mumbai only and it was challenging for us to make each real location look like the 90’s era. For one of the hostel sequences we did a recce of about 56 locations in total across Mumbai-Thane-Vashi areas to find that one perfect location. The thought behind such a recce was that we wanted achieve what Nitesh Sir had conceived during the prep of the schedule. Chhichhore has been a different experience for all of us under Nitesh Sir’s guidance.”

The source further added, “Making a set and shooting v/s finding the perfect real location and shooting there is a huge difference. Also for us the best part is that thought processes of the producer (Sajid Sir) and director (Nitesh Sir) are always in sync and hence it's easier for us to do the prep and the pre-production of the schedules.”

Chhichhore is all set to hit the screens on 30th August 2019.
