MUMBAI: Having worked in soaps like Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Naamkaran, and Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Barkha Bisht is a popular face of the small screen.
The actress also worked in Bollywood films like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, and Rajneeti.
Barkha has bagged a prominent role in another Bollywood project. She will be seen in PM Narendra Modi's upcoming biopic.
The film will star Vivek Oberoi in the role of PM Narendra Modi, while Barkha, according to media reports, will be seen in the role of Jashodaben, wife of Narendra Modi.
Ace actors like Boman Irani, and Zarina Wahab are also a part of the project. The shooting of the film will go on floors soon.
Speaking about her role in the film, Barkha said to an entertainment portal, "It's a very small part that I'm playing in the movie, but it's also impactful. I got a call from the makers because the co-producer of the film was also a part of Ram-Leela and he had seen my work in the film. Also, I talked to director Omang Kumar who also liked my work, so that's how this happened."
"I think it is going to be the biggest films of the year and I'm glad to be a part of it," she added.
