MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television's Mere Sai is becoming increasing popular. Several people religiously watching the show, and the fan following has grown so much that Sai Baba himself indirectly blessed the sets.
Recently, Arun Gaikwad came to the sets of Mere Sai with 9 coins that belonged to Shirdi’s Sai Baba. Before his Samadhi, Sai Baba gifted these 9 coins to Laxmi Bai Shinde. Just a few days ago, her grandson came on the sets with these coins. Thus showering Sai’s blessings on all the members working on the show. Arun loves the show and watches it every day. He loves Abeer Soofi’s acting to be very authentic and hence wanted to meet him since a long time. Everyone was surprised when he said that he has brought the precious 9 coins with him. The whole team also performed an aarti of the at the Dwarikamai set.
Abeer, who essays the role of Sai on the show said, ‘The entire cast and crew of Mere Sai is very lucky and blessed, because with such a busy working schedule, we do not get much time to visit Shirdi, but this is a real miracle, where the real 9 coins gifted by Sai Baba came on the sets to bless everyone. I feel extremely obliged as people walk up to these coins to pray, and not everyone gets this chance where the blessings come your way instead of you going to them. It was Baba’s wish that these coins come to us and they have. This could only happen because of Laxmi Bai’s grandson. Sai Baba, during his Samadhi, gifted these precious 9 coins to Laxmi Bai on 15th October 1918. Arun Gaikwad, her grandson, watches the show regularly, and the show’s popularity is what made him come on sets.’
Mere Sai is known for taking up real life issues and showing ways to solve them. It will soon be seen spreading a message of a clean and green environment.
