Chandan Madan to be part of 'Mere Sai'

Actor Chandan Madan, known for his work in shows such as "Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke" and "Fear Files", has been roped in to play a teacher in the show "Mere Sai".

His character, Shrikant, goes to a school in Shirdi to teach.

"He doesn't like the way people are behaving with Chiu Tai, a widow. But my character will be seen forming a special bond with Chiu Tai and will help her overcome the societal pressures," Chandan said in a statement.

"My family and I are Sai Baba's followers in real life and when I got an offer to play this role in 'Mere Sai', I immediately accepted it," he added.
