Man behind the masterpiece Mahabharata, storyteller Siddharth Kumar Tewary's historical mega-series Chandragupta Maurya reached its crucial phase that involves one of the longest wars to be showcased on television.
The show has been gaining steam among viewers across all age groups with it's par excellence VFX & a movie-like experience on television with the war between Dhananand & Chandragupta currently on. A show that follows the life of the founder of the Maurya empire, orphaned & abandoned Chandragupta Maurya & his solidarity with the greatest teacher, philosopher & royal advisor Chanakya. With some power-packed performances by the child artist Kartikey Malviya & seasoned actor Tarun Khanna, Sourabh Raaj Jain's portrayal of sinister King Dhananand has been appreciated far & wide making the show not less than straight out of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali's blockbuster.
Previously we saw Chanakya & Moora run away saving Chandragupta from a face off with Dhananand & escape going into Agyatwaas zone where they will be taking shelter in disguise in a Napit Kingdom under Dhananand.
Moving forward, after Dhananand & Chandragupta come face to face, the chase finally begins in which the latter gets poisoned by Naagpushpa. The poison is known to kill leaving Chandragupta on the crossroads of life & death.
This week the war continues & takes an interesting turn, source adds, 'After Naagpushpa poisons Chandragupta, they are running away from the Nadi marg with Dhananand's crew following him. That is when Moora gets reminded of this Vaidya who may have what it needs to save Chandragupta & extract the poison from his body. They start moving towards the Vaidya to seek help.'
Only time will tell if Vaidya will be able to save Chandragupta. Keep watching this space for more.
