Commenting on the channel's performance Anooj Kapoor, Business Head SAB said, "We are looking at 2010 with renewed energy, new vigour and optimism as we continue to accomplish incredible growth. We are confident that we will further consolidate our position with our flagship shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Lapataganj and the recent Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo. In keeping with our strategy of differentiated programming through innovation, we are ready to launch India's first silent comedy in February." SAB has been gradually and steadily increasing its hold in the general entertainment genre. Looks like, it has managed to impress the entire family to watch television together with its unique light-hearted content.
