MUMBAI: It seems Pooja Banerjee, who is playing the role of Nivedita in the popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, wants Ronit Roy to play the role of Mr. Bajaj again.
For the uninitiated, the iconic role of Mr. Bajaj was played by Ronit Roy in the first part. Now, the viewers are eagerly waiting for the introduction of Mr Bajaj in the reboot version of the show.
There have been reports that Karan Singh Grover is joining the team of Kasautii and that he is playing the role of Mr Bajaj.
Reacting to the reports, Pooja, who played Ronit's daughter in a digital show and still addresses him as papa, said to TimesofIndia.com, "Well, I read the news today and I called Ronit Roy. I told him, 'Papa aap hi ajao.' And he was like, 'Nah'."
“We don't know any such developments as of now. Hina's just left...so we are focusing on that. If Karan Singh Grover is joining it'll be great. We'll welcome him to the madness,” she added.
Hina Khan took a break from the show to focus on her film career.
The daily further reported that the makers are currently working on the bits to introduce Mr. Bajaj's track.
