MUMBAI: The episode begins with Naira stopping Aditya from contacting Kartik. Later, the Singhanias and the Goenkas are in for a shock during Kartik and Vedika's mehendi ceremony. Naksh beats Aditya and tells him to leave the house immediately. Just then, Aditya’s parents come and tell everyone that Aditya’s mental condition wasn’t stable and that they should forgive him for the wrong doings. Kartik gets devastated while Naira wishes Kartik carries on with his new life as she chose not to come back ever. Kartik goes inside the room where he had collected Naira’s memories and talks to her through his imagination. Aditya’s words haunt him and Kartik imagines Naira everywhere in the room, talking to him as if she was alive.
Here, Manish convinces Suwarna that if Naira would have been alive, she would have chosen to come and meet her family rather than meeting Aditya. Suwarna becomes speechless at Manish’s question. Vedika comes in the room where Kartik was and seeing her come inside, Kartik apologizes to her considering her to be Naira. When Vedika comes closer and Kartik gets a better view of her, he gets shocked to see Vedika inside. Vedika comes out in a shocked state, as she had never seen Kartik’s miserable condition before. While everyone waited for her to come, she shocks everyone by washing off the henna from her hand and declaring that she was calling off her marriage with Kartik.
Vedika tells everyone that Kartik was not happy with the marriage and it was unfair for everyone to force him for the marriage. She tells everyone that if she got married to Kartik, even after seeing his miserable condition, she would never be able to forgive herself. Vansh comes to Kartik and innocently tells him that people who die never come back and that he should apologize to Vedika and Suhasini for his bad behaviour. Kartik finds Vansh’s words inspiring and to pacify the situation tells everyone to start the sangeet ceremony.
