MUMBAI: The occasion of Eid-ul-Adha is being celebrated with great zeal and fervour across the world today. The festival is also known as Bakra Eid or Sacrifice feast. The festival honours Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son when commanded to do by the Almighty. After Edi-al-Fitr, which arrives in the holy month of Ramzan, this is the second most important Islamic holiday.
