MUMBAI: Saaho has been one of the much-awaited films of this year. Fans have been supper excited to see the chemistry between the stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor. Directed by Sujeeth, the film finally hit the theatres on 30 August 2019. However, the film has landed itself in trouble.
Well, the film has taken South India by storm. The film which has round the clock shows in states down South witnessed a minor setback on its opening day. As per reports, scores of Saaho shows were cancelled across the country as the film's print could not reach single screens and multiplexes on time for the Friday morning release. Major cinema chains which require 2K prints of films had to wait as the prints couldn't be delivered on time.
Reports also stated that Saaho could not reach on time to certain locations in Northern India. Due to this, morning shows were cancelled in multiple cities. The print issue seems to be more with the Hindi version of the film. The issue created big worries among the exhibitors as people who booked the morning shows were left disappointed. This issue is likely to affect the film's collection majorly as the numbers had earlier suggested Rs 10 crore and plus. As per Box Office India, the pre-sales for the Hindi version of the film were around Rs 8.50 crore but would have easily topped Rs 10 crore if the issue were not there.
Some of the fans took to social media to ask about the reason behind cancellation of morning shows. Take a look below:
