MUMBAI: The episode begins with Sid and Ishani trying to ask Riya's mother to bring her father back in their life because they want to confirm her disease. Sid gets angry when Riya's mother says that she doesn't want her daughter to know. He starts saying how it is not her mother's right to control and hide facts from Riya. In his anger, Sid accidentally asks Riya's mother who his father's name is. Ishani is shocked to hear this and Sid walks away.
Flashbacks of Sid's conversation with his mother circle his head and he starts crying. He starts breaking a car's windows when Ishani rushes to him. Sid gets angry and asks her to leave him alone. Ishani notices the cut on Sid's palm and tells him that he needs to treat it. Ishani tries to explain to him how there must be a big reason behind a mother hiding the father's identity from their children. She somehow consoles him but asks him if he sees his childhood in Riya. But Sid gets irked by the question and says that it has nothing to do with him. Shashank arrives and asks Ishani to excuse them. He tells Sid that if he can't handle his personal emotions, the case will be handed to someone else.
Sid apologises and is about to leave when Shashank states that he would've been proud of him if he were the father. Sid feels emotional and hugs him. Asha and Aman get a patient who swallowed his own dabba phone because of a bet. Sid speaks to Riya's mother and apologises to her for his behaviour. She then tells him the truth about Riya being an illegitimate child between her and her boss. Asha and Aman continue to help out their silly patient.
Asha is freaking out as she is scared that if she doesn't prove herself in a year and become a resident in Sanjivani, she will be married off to someone. Aman talks big about the money and this angers Asha. Their patient finally tells them that he is ready for operation. Sid calls up his mother and apologises to her. He then admits that he doesn't wish to know about anyone else because she is enough for him. Ishani hears the conversation and even sees him shed a tear.
