Amita Khopkar injured during the shoot of Tara from Satara

Injuries and pains come as an unavoidable part of life’s journey but most commonly people are seen losing to these troubles but Sony Entertainment Television’s Tara from Satara’s Amita Khopkar has a different story to tell. Recently, while shooting for a sequence in the show a brick fell on her foot, and while during a sequence she was to act injured, the senior actress got injured in reality.

Sony Entertainment Television’s Tara from Satara has not only impressed with its unique storyline but also the new concept of Dramality seems to be going well with the audience. The show has been among one of the highest TRP grossers in its initial weeks and as much as the show the characters are also being loved. Amita Khopkar who essays the role of a trendy grandmom in the show was recently injured when during the shoot a brick fell on her foot. Actress was immediately taken to the hospital and was asked by the doctors to have a complete bed rest for a couple of days. While she herself wanted to continue her shoots, the production team decided to give her the necessary rest and it was made sure that she gets completely healed before she shot again.

Speaking about this incident Amita Khopkar said, “Injuries are a part of any journey and this show itself is one beautiful expedition. There was a sequence in the show when a brick falls on my leg and I get injured and during the same, the brick actually fell on my foot and hurt me a bit. Though, I wanted to continue the shoot as the schedule was jam-packed, the team decided otherwise. Like a family, they took me to the hospital and even when I have resumed shoot they are taking proper care of my medicines and movement. I feel blessed to have them with me.”
