Recently, we broke the news about Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera fame Shivin Narang being likely to play the male lead in the second season of TV’s most celebrated show Beyhadh, which will be produced by Prateek Sharma under his banner LSD Films (Read here: Shivin Narang to play the male lead in Sony TV’s Beyhadh 2?).
The new installment will continue to feature Jennifer Winget as Maya, while the rest of the cast will change.
Our sources inform us that the makers are also keen on bringing talented actor Siddhant Karnick on board to play another male protagonist.
Siddhant is known for his stint in shows like Mahi Way, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani and was last seen in Kaal Bhairav Rahasya 2.
Beyhadh 2 will be a revenge story where apparently Maya (Jennifer) will fall in love with an older man (mostly played by Siddhant), who has a son (most likely to be played by Shivin). Siddhant's character will dump Maya, who will later seek revenge by falling in love with Shivin's character.
Beyhadh was one of the most well received shows. The original star cast Jennifer Winger, Kushal Tandon, and Aneri Vajani won audience hearts with their stellar performances.
We could not get through to Siddhant and producer Prateek for a comment.
