It's time Erica Fernandes BREAKS FREE from her 'BENGALI IMAGE'

MUMBAI: Erica Fernandes is one of the most stylish and fashionable actresses of television. Her acting skills are magnificent, and she creates magic on screens with the characters she plays.

In all the characters she has played so far, she has come across as a strong and independent woman who has the guts to call a spade a spade.

She puts forth her opinions strongly and is also very dependable. We have seen her playing Dr. Sonakshi Bose in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. Currently, she plays the character of Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. But have you noticed a close similarities in the characters she essays? All of her characters are Bengali.

Sonakshi was a Bengali character, and Prerna too is styled as a Bengali in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

While she does play the character well, we also hope to see more of her in other character roles where she is not playing a Bengali and where other aspects and layers of her character are highlighted. Her role in Kasautii is definitely very different from what she portrayed in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, but we can't wait to see her in more varies roles.
