MUMBAI: Producer Rajan Shahi under his production house Directors Kut recently organized a fire drill on the sets of his shows Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The fire drills were held at both units and the cast and crew actively took part in it.
“Basically, it’s very important that unwarranted and unexpected emergencies and fatalities are handled well. Anything can happen with the best of conditions. It's important that every unit member should be educated and should know that in case of an unfortunate or unexpected situation, how they should react and take steps. I think educating the unit is the most important thing and the safety of the unit also depends on the unit by itself. So, the unit has to actively take part. I am very happy that Kartik and Naira, Abir and Mishti and all the other actors took an active part and keen interest not only to educate themselves but the entire unit,” says Shahi.
In fact, the unit also asked the experts questions to make sure they are very clear on how to react in these situations.
