Reem Shaikh talks about her ‘STRUGGLING DAYS’; was REJECTED because she was ‘CHUBBY’

Each actor faces a struggling period before the big break into acting. And for actress Reem Shaikh it was no different. Much loved for her character in Zee TV’s Tujhse Hai Raabta, Reem went on record to share her experience and the struggles to SpotBoyE. Having marked her Television debut with 2010 show Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi and played the character of Lakshmi/ Devi she mentioned of how she faced rejection because she was chubby. She also disclosed that she had signed around 10 shows and somehow all of them either got shelved or rejected for some reason. For the role in Tujhse Hai Raabta too, she mentioned to the portal that she was rejected thrice. The makers had later finalized her as the actress they locked could not shoot.
