MUMBAI: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl refuses to slow down even in its 7th week of release. The movie has successfully completed a 50 days run at the theatres, clocking in a new record for both – Ayushmann and the film’s production house – Balaji Telefilms. The film, that hit the screens on September 13, was lapped up both by the critics and audience across, and kept the cash registers ringing.
Interestingly, Dream Girl is Ayushmann Khurrana’s highest grosser till date, racing ahead of Badhaai Ho and today stands at Rs. 142 crores.
The film also is the highest grosser for Balaji Telefilms, a record which was previously held by the 100cr grosser 'Ek Villain'.
Dream Girl, produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa released on September 13, 2019.
