MUMBAI: Motichoor Chaknachoor is an upcoming film. Directed by Debamitra Biswal and produced by Rajiv and Kiran Bhatia, the comedy film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty in lead roles. 

However, Nawazuddin's first full-fledged romantic comedy, Motichoor Chaknachoor, has been in the news unfortunately for all the wrong reasons so far. Recently, there were reports about how the film's director was sacked by the producer and even used foul language apparently; this was followed by reports of how the film's editor, choreographer and art director lashed out against the producer, Bhatia and now it is being said that leading lady, Athiya Shetty has not been paid yet. Further reports suggest that a civil court in Bihar has stayed the release of the film as one local distributor has claimed rights to the film with relevant documents to support the claim. If things stay as it is, the film, that is scheduled to release on 15th November may not release on that day and get delayed. 

Motichoor Chaknachoor also stars actors like Vibha Chibber, Navni Parihar, Vivek Mishra, and Karuna Pandey to name a few.
