When Kriti Sanon and PeeCee tried to decode Kashi Bai and Parvati Bai’s connection

MUMBAI: Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Panipat has been making news recently. The period drama is one of the most anticipated films. Arjun plays the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau, while Kriti will be seen as Parvati Bai. The audience even compared them to Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra from Bajirao Mastani.

In a recent interaction with Mid-Day, Kriti mentioned that the memes and comparison with Kashi Bai from Bajirao Mastani were expected as the films are from the same time. The Panipat star revealed that when Priyanka and she met, they both tried to find out the exact relation between Kashi Bai and Parvati Bai. Kriti even mentioned that her recent video of grooving to Luka Chuppi’s song impressed Priyanka and she was reminded of her shooting days of Bajirao Mastani. The Panipat star mentioned that Priyanka could relate to the off set fun that she had while shooting for the film.

The film is based on the third battle of Panipat between the Marathas and Ahmed Shah Abdali. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Panipat also stars Sanjay Dutt.
