Shabir Ahluwalia and Kanchi Kaul celebrate their 8th marriage anniversary with a bang - here's proof

MUMBAI: Zee TV’s longest-running show, Kumkum Bhagya successfully hit the 1500 episodes mark this month, but it's still unstoppable. The popularity of the show is at its peak especially for the chemistry between its leads - Shabir Ahluwalia as Abhi and Sriti Jha as Pragya. Abhi - Pragya have been one of India’s favorite on-screen couples, but Shabir's real-life love story is also really cute! 

After meeting through their common friend Ekta Kapoor, Shabir Ahluwalia and Kanchi Kaul started dating each other and after a few years of courtship, they got married in 2011. Eight years later, the duo is still one of the cutest we know. In fact, to ring in their 8th anniversary, Shabir took Kanchi and his two sons- Azai and Ivarr on a lavish holiday to Dubai. They've been going around town, exploring the city and its attractions and have also been soaking up the sun by the beach. 

To celebrate their 8th anniversary, they have even planned a celebration and we can't wait to see all the pictures from the party. In the meantime, while speaking about their marriage, Kanchi posted a message for Shabir on social media, which read as, “I'm so thankful we found each other, its been more than a decade of non stop smiles, hugs that melt my heart and love like no other, so deep and complex. Thank you for being my bestest friend, lover, rager, and the nicest person I have ever met. To say that I love you so much would be the understatement of a lifetime. Words cannot simply express the pure joy that my heart feels when I think about how you and I share a life together, and I know I could not have been blessed any more than I have been by being your wife. You make me sublimely happy!” 

Well, it seems like age is just a number and the couple seems to be more in love with each passing year. We wish them a Happy Anniversary!
