CAA Protest: Richa Chadha blasts Ashoke Pandit for accusing her of sending dummies

MUMBAI: The entire nation is currently debating after seeing the disturbing visuals of the harsh action taken against the protestors of CAA. But now this has caused friction between Bollywood actress Richa Chadha and Indian Film & Television Directors' Association director Ashoke Pandit.

On various occasions in the past, the two have had a major showdown which grabbed eyeballs. This time the CAA protest is the topic getting them at loggerheads.

Ashoke took to his Twitter account and accused certain Bollywood celebs of sending in dummies at the ongoing protest to worsen the case. His tweet included names of stars like Richa Chadha, Mahesh Bhatt, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao and Anubhav Sinha. Not lying low on such an accusation, Section 375 actress called him out for his weird online behaviour in her series of tweets. The Tweet that sparked this online battle between the two read, '#ISupportDelhiPolice @anuragkashyap72 @MaheshNBhatt @anubhavsinha @RajkummarRao @humasqureshi #SwaraBhasker @BajpayeeManoj @RichaChadha & many more like these friends of ours have supplied dummies.'

Here's what Richa tweeted.

After these tweets, Ashoke replied, 'You have yourself defined the meaning of #UrbanNaxal by this stupid act of yours. We don’t abuse. Urban Naxals stoop low when they fear of getting exposed. I hv the guts to take such antinational’s head on both peaceful means.'

Well, we hope things get sorted between them soon!
