Ram Awana to play King Chhatrasal in Moti Sagar's Shri Prannathji

Moti Sagar of Sagar Pictures is one man who has been putting in efforts to keep our mythological roots alive. Hailing from the house of epic shows, like Ramayan, Moti took the legacy of his father Ramanand Sagar and created some mindboggling serials like, Prithiviraj Chauhan, Sai Baba, Jai Shri Krishna, Meera, Shakuntala and Mahavir Hanuman. Currently he is producing Shri Prannathji on Imagine which airs every Sunday at 8pm. The show is based on the life of Prannathji, played by Manu Krishna, who is believed to be the son of God. He has been given divine powers by the Almighty himself through devotee Devchandra, who is said to have come on earth to preach the goodness of God. The current track in the serial is dealing with the lives of Tanaji Malusare and Prannathji but soon it will see the entry of King Chhatrasal. Now, King Chhatrasal is known for having fought and won 52 battles against Aurangzeb during the Mughal rule in India. However, he won these battles after meeting Prannathji and followed his guidelines. Ram Awana will be seen playing the role of King Chhatrasal. He was last seen in Imagine’s Dwarkadheesh as Raja Paundrik. “The upcoming episodes will see Chhatrasal’s journey from a child to an elderly man. The track will continue for the next ten weeks,” said a source.
