Ali quits Bingo, makers approach Krushna who too rejects it

Last week TellyChakkar reported about how Ali Asgar felt dejected after he realised that Abhishek Bachchan has ended up hogging all the limelight on Bingo . Ali admitted that he missed being a part of the Comedy Circus latest offering Maha sangram but refused to comment on his current show Bingo. And now our sources tell us that the actor has quit the show and it is believed that the production house had approached his co-contestant Krushna Abhishek from Comedy Circus to step in his shoes. Informs our source from Bingo , “It seems the makers of Bingo have taken a fancy to the talent in Comedy Circus . When Asgar decided to quit the show, they approached Krushna Abhishek who has been a part of the comedy series too, but the latter too refused to be a part of the show. Now it is buzzed that comic actor Vrajesh Hirjee has been roped in to co-host the show with Abhishek Bachchan.” Confirming the news Asgar says, “Yes, I have quit the show but that is purely owing to the date issues. Since I am doing FIR it is at times difficult to adjust my dates with Abhishek and I don’t deem it fit to ask them to make amendments and adjustments for me.” Well one is also hearing that Asgar has ended up with a plum role in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan . The actor however refused to comment on it. We also contacted Krushna who accepted that he was indeed approached to co-host Bingo but he too refused it. Says he, “Primarily, it’s because I am a part of an already hit show Comedy Circus and currently doing its latest season Maha sangram. It’s been hardly three years on television for me and I have already created a name for myself and the credit goes to Comedy Circus . Rather than co-hosting a show, I might get an opportunity to host my own show in the near future. I would like to host a chat show on the lines of Movers and Shekhars .” We sent a text message to Vrajesh Hirjee but he remained unavailable.
