Post Millie Ajay Gehi's Bollywood dreams have taken shape with MTV's Ghoom and now the actor is doing a thirty minute short film titled Ravi Goes To School by Anu Menon. The actor gets to play a young husband opposite Heeba Shah (Naseerudin Shah's daughter) and the story revolves around a young couple whose life changes because of a watchman's kid. "I play Rohit and it's a serious character this time. This young couple comes across a kid called Ravi from a poor family and how their life and relationship changes as the kid comes along and vice versa. It's been a good experience shooting for the film. I also learnt a lot from the director who is from London School of Drama and also my co-actor Heeba whom I've known since my Maqbool days," says a chirpy Ajay who completed a seven day shooting schedule in Hyderabad. The film has been inspired from a real life story of a kid whom directorAnu Menon got to meet during one of her visits to Hyderabad. That's when she decided to cast the same kid (as Ravi) in her film as well. The film is aimed at the film festivals abroad and will not have a commercial release in India. "We are trying to finish, edit and complete the film as soon as possible so that we can get the entries everywhere in all the film festivals in India and abroad," adds Ajay excitedly. For now the actor is ready to shoot for any exciting project from any medium (Television, theatre, ad film or films) coming his way.
